The benefits of belonging to the Alliance

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP and OPEN CLINICAL FORUMS (OCFs)
The Alliance supports its members by working on their behalf to promote the business, negotiate benefits and recognition for practitioners, provide appropriate insurance, create CPD and development opportunities, disseminate information and provide education events. In addition, representation of membership in national negotiations, registration matters, practitioner support, clinical support, business advice, fellowship and social interaction, Volitional Register provision, production of Journal, Annual Seminar, Open Clinical Forums, etc. are all accessed by membership.

Alliance members have a network of regional Open Clinical Forums offering a varied choice of CPD

The Alliance has a full-time administration department and is guided by an Executive of Directors who are practitioners in their own right.

A Chair Council consisting of Chairs and Vice Chairs of the Regional OCF branches meets to represent members and guide the Executive. The Chair Council consists of the Chairs and Vice Chairs of all of the Open Clinical Forum branches. Please write or email any issue you may wish to raise for discussion - only written requests or proposals can be considered for the Agenda. Any member can make direct contact with their local Open Clinical Forum on the following numbers. Issues, suggestions and programme ideas input at this level can be brought forward to the Chair Council and will be given full consideration and actioned wherever practical:
