The Alliance supports and services those practitioners who provide medical and health care to the public.

Private sector practitioners possess knowledge and skills that can improve the quality of life for their clients. By promoting and providing practitioner development opportunities, the Alliance supports safe delivery of those skills.


The Alliance recognises that private sector practitioners, registered and non-registered, possess knowledge and skills that are of benefit to their patients, and can deliver the necessary skills safely to the public. The Alliance also recognises that the registered sector alone cannot offer the service level required by the population of the UK.

The private sector has always delivered that which the public seeks. The Alliance intends that this shall always be available and safely delivered, whilst practitioners shall be fully represented, protected and gain benefit from their legitimate endeavor.
